Purchasing goods online could get more expensive following a recent decision by the US Supreme Court, according to the Associated Press. Earlier this month, the court declined to hear a challenge to a law in Colorado requiring online retailers like Amazon.com to let customers and the state know how much they owe in taxes. But, according to George Isaacson ’70, adjunct lecturer in law, the court may be simply biding its time to see if other states copy Colorado, before making a final decision on the law.
